This is the first Digital Calligraphy job I ever did

I charged $90 for it - sketches, revisions, vectorizing, alllll of it 😬

And I'm so glad I did early jobs like this, for not much money.

I got to work with other beginning business owners, play with calligraphy styles, and LEARN how to communicate with clients, invoice, deliver the final product...

So, how did I go from that to charging $5000 in 2021?

Here's how:

• 1️⃣ I figured out the STYLE BUILDING BLOCKS and got way more confident in my ability to create new fonts from scratch
• 2️⃣ I learned that businesses regularly pay thousands (if not TENS of thousands) for digital designs because it’s an asset that represents their brand and makes them profits💰
• 3️⃣ I figured out what high-paying clients are looking for when they hire calligraphers...

...and Style Flexibility is a huge part of it 💪
